As a County Commisioner I will work to reduce property taxes by engaging in a deep dive of our revenue and expense ledgers.
I’m dedicated to preserving Lumpkin County’s traditional values, lowering property taxes, and opposing unchecked high-density development to ensure a thriving, balanced future for all residents.
I will NEVER VOTE to approve any high density housing development such as condos or townhomes. Additionally, any new development must pass the following litmus test. Will it have a positive impact on the quality of life of Lumpkin County residents?
Any new growth should stay near or at the 400 corridor where it belongs and should positively impact the residents of Lumpkin County by providing good paying jobs and career opportunities for the youth and young families of our community. Any potential new development should benefit the residents of Lumpkin County and not exclusively large corporations or wealthy executives of Atlanta. Additionally, any new development should not disrupt the peace and harmony we currently enjoy.

Protecting Our Heritage
Our culture and Christian values are the bedrock of Lumpkin County. I will be a steadfast voice for the Traditional American Conservative Family, ensuring our local government respects the faith and freedom that define us.
Real Tax Relief
You work hard for your money; the county should work hard to save it. I will conduct a “Deep Dive” into our revenue and expense ledgers to identify waste and fight to reduce the property tax burden on our residents.
Smart Growth
We must protect our rural landscape from becoming an extension of Atlanta’s urban sprawl. I will prioritize good-paying local jobs for our youth over the interests of wealthy Atlanta executives.
